Terms of use
Last updated: Draft, October 2026
These terms explain how families can use Keniah during the pilot and after. They're written to be read, not skimmed past.
Who can use Keniah
Accounts are created and held by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over, who may add profiles for their children. Children use Keniah under their parent's account and supervision.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details private and tell us if you think someone else has used them.
- Give accurate contact details so we can reach you about your account.
- You're responsible for activity on your account, including your children's profiles.
The pilot
During the pilot, Keniah is still being built. Features and Experiences may change, be added or be removed, and there may be occasional interruptions. We'll ask for your feedback, and taking part in feedback is always optional.
Acceptable use
Please don't misuse Keniah: no attempts to access other accounts, disrupt the service, copy content for redistribution or use Keniah for anything unlawful.
Content
Keniah Experiences, artwork, games and text belong to Keniah Edtech Africa or its licensors. You may use them for your family's personal, non-commercial learning.
What Keniah is and isn't
Keniah supports learning and offers careful observations for parents. It is not a formal evaluation of a child, a diagnostic tool or careers advice, and it does not replace your child's school or teachers.
Privacy
Our Privacy notice and Child safety commitments form part of these terms.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms and will tell you about significant changes. You can close your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
