Our approach
Made with care, checked by people.
Every Keniah Experience follows the same path from the curriculum to your child's screen. Here's what happens along the way.
How an Experience is made
Step 1: Curriculum
We start from the official curriculum design: a grade, a learning area and a specific learning outcome. Nothing begins with a trend or a gimmick.
Step 2: Experience design
Our team decides how a child should meet the idea: as a story, a mission, a decision, an exploration or something to create. We also decide what a parent might notice, and what the Experience can honestly show.
Step 3: AI-assisted production
Our producers use AI tools behind the scenes to help draft scripts, illustrations and variations faster. It's part of our workshop, not part of your child's screen. Children never chat with AI on Keniah.
Step 4: Review
A curriculum reviewer checks every Experience against the learning outcome it claims to support, and sends it back for revision when it falls short.
Step 5: Quality checks
Creative and technical checks make sure it's accurate, age-appropriate, works well on everyday phones and is genuinely enjoyable.
Step 6: Release
Only after final approval is an Experience published. Every version is recorded with who made it, who approved it and what changed.
What we hold to
Principles we won't trade away.
Experiences, not worksheets
Learning happens by exploring, playing, deciding and creating, not by working through a queue of tasks.
Observe before interpreting
One moment never becomes a label. Patterns need repeated evidence across time and different Experiences.
Beyond marks
What parents value is insight into interests, persistence, strategy and breadth, plus practical ways to help.
Pathways are directional
Keniah helps families explore over time. It never places a child in a pathway or puts a number on their future.
Technology in the background
Our tools help us make better Experiences, faster. The product itself is about your child, not the technology.
Safety is the floor
No public profiles, no messaging between children, no open chat and only the data we genuinely need.
Help shape Keniah from the start.
We're inviting a small group of Kenyan families with children in Grades 4 to 9 to try Keniah early and tell us what works.
