Keniah Edtech Africa is a Kenyan education company. We turn the curriculum into Experiences that help children learn, explore and show how they engage with the world, giving parents meaningful insight beyond marks.
Why Keniah
Not another school portal.
Children in Upper Primary and Junior School already spend long days on schoolwork. We didn't want to add more of it to their evenings. Keniah takes the same curriculum and opens a different door: stories to follow, missions to solve, decisions to make and things to create.
For parents, we wanted something more useful than another set of numbers. Keniah pays attention to how a child engages and, when a pattern is clear, shares it gently, with a reason and a practical idea.
We're starting small and careful, with a Grade 7 reference set and a pilot with Kenyan families, so that what we build next is shaped by real children and real parents.
What we believe
Four things guide us.
Children learn best when they want to
Curiosity is a better engine than pressure. If an Experience isn't something a child would choose, we haven't finished making it.
Every child is more than a mark
How a child persists, explores and creates matters. Parents deserve a view of that, offered with humility.
Kenyan, from the start
Built around the Kenyan curriculum, Kenyan settings and the devices and data budgets families really have.
Trust is earned slowly
We collect little, explain what we observe and never let a single moment define a child.
